Deploying the construction of the 500kV Quang Tri transformer station and the Quang Tri - Vung Ang - Da Nang connecting line

In Hai Truong commune, Hai Lang district, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) held a ceremony to launch the construction of the 500kV Quang Tri transformer station and the Quang Tri - Vung Ang - Da Nang connecting line. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien attended.
The scale of the project includes the construction of a 500 kV transformer station to provide transmission voltage: 500 kV and 220 kV; capacity of 2 transformers 500kV-2x(3x300) MVA. Construction of the 500 kV Quang Tri line is connected to and from the existing 500 kV Da Nang - Ha Tinh and Da Nang - Vung Ang lines, including 2 branches with a total length of 5.9 km and a 22 kV self-contained line with a length of 3.6 km.
The total investment of the project is nearly 966 billion VND, of which the cost of compensation for site clearance is more than 26 billion VND, the construction cost is more than 342.5 billion VND, the equipment cost is nearly 351 billion VND and other expenses. The project is expected to be completed and energized in the second quarter of 2025.
This is an important project in the area to actively coordinate with related units to do a good job of handing over the site, promoting propaganda to the people, not allowing the emergence of houses and constructions in the agreed power line corridor, creating favorable conditions to support construction units to implement on schedule.
