At the conference on announcing the Quang Tri Province Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 in July 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that Quang Tri Province needs to focus on investing in education and training, and encourage businesses to participate in vocational training. In particular, it is important to focus on training high-quality human resources in line with the development orientation of Quang Tri Province. The province needs to continue to attach importance to and focus on building employees with professional qualifications, moral qualities and practical working capacity to meet the requirements of the task.
In recent years, Quang Tri province has attracted a number of large investors in the industrial sector. Therefore, the provincial government has always paid attention to improving the quality of vocational education, focusing on vocational training, especially in fields requiring high skills.
The province has strengthened the connection between businesses and training institutions, encouraging businesses to coordinate with universities, colleges and vocational training institutions to develop appropriate training programs. The courses are designed to suit the actual needs of businesses, helping students to start working immediately after graduation. Currently, the province has 19 vocational education establishments. The system of vocational education establishments has gradually developed and improved. Every year, about 400 - 450 students are supported to practice and improve their skills at enterprises in and outside the province.
Along with that, Quang Tri prioritizes vocational training and soft skills for the province’s workforce. In addition to technical expertise, soft skills training programs such as communication, teamwork and time management are also focused on. These are factors that help workers adapt better to the modern working environment.
Many new investors have chosen the province as a destination thanks to its strong commitment to providing high-quality labor. This not only helps local economic growth but also contributes to affirming the province's position on the national economic map.
