Quang Tri IPA works with foreign investment promotion agencies and consulting firms in Da Nang City

To enhance investment promotion activities in Quang Tri province, from April 09-12, 2026, the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency (Quang Tri IPA) organized a working trip to Da Nang City, engaging with several foreign investment promotion agencies, including the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the Investment Promotion, Information and Support Center (IPISC), and Dezan Shira & Associates Vietnam, as well as several enterprises in Da Nang City. Representatives from Quang Anh Quang Tri JSC - the investor of Amber Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park - also participated in the trip.
At the meetings with KOTRA, IPISC, and Dezan Shira & Associates Vietnam in Da Nang City, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tan, Director of Quang Tri IPA, introduced the partners to the potential and advantages of the newly merged Quang Tri province (from Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces), particularly in terms of geographical location, infrastructure, and transportation connectivity. He also highlighted the province’s key strengths, including energy, tourism, and industry; the current situation of FDI attraction; and the economic development orientation for the 2025-2030 period. He respectfully requested that leaders and members of foreign investment promotion networks consider introducing international investment funds, corporations, and enterprises to survey, research, and develop projects in Quang Tri province.
Speaking at the meetings, Mr. Vu Le Long, Head of the Business & Marketing Department of Quang Anh Quang Tri JSC (investor of Amber Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park), presented general information about the industrial park, including its geographical location, planning, total investment, infrastructure and services, advantages of abundant labor resources with competitive costs, and investment incentives. He also called on foreign investment promotion agencies and consulting firms in Da Nang City to support the promotion of Amber Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park to potential investors interested in exploring investment opportunities and expanding their operations in Vietnam.

KOTRA is a trade and investment promotion organization of the Korean Government with over 60 years of experience. In Vietnam, KOTRA Da Nang is the third KOTRA office, officially operational since January 21, 2019. Its main functions include market research, promoting Korean products to Vietnamese partners, facilitating investment and M&A projects, supporting Korean enterprises in Central Vietnam, and coordinating with local authorities to address challenges faced by investors.
* Meeting with the Investment Promotion, Information and Support Center (IPISC) – Da Nang Office
IPISC, under the Foreign Investment Department of the Ministry of Finance, is responsible for investment promotion, information provision, and support for domestic and foreign investors in accessing Vietnam’s investment environment.
In recent years, Quang Tri IPA and IPISC Da Nang have closely coordinated in supporting enterprises and investors in accessing information and opportunities in the Central region, particularly in Quang Tri. At the meeting, Mr. Le Minh Duong, Deputy Director of IPISC, highly appreciated the province’s potential and expressed interest in cooperating to develop a startup incubation model to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), potentially in collaboration with financial institutions such as the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
Dezan Shira & Associates is an investment consulting firm with extensive experience in foreign direct investment across Asia. Established in 1992, the firm operates offices across multiple countries and provides services including due diligence, tax and business consulting, company formation, compliance, accounting, and financial advisory.
Dezan Shira & Associates Vietnam also proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Quang Tri IPA to enhance information sharing and establish a long-term cooperative relationship. Both sides agreed to closely coordinate in organizing events and implementing investment promotion activities in the future.

At the meeting, Ms. Cho Ju Yeoun, Director General of KOTRA Da Nang, highly appreciated the information provided by Quang Tri IPA and Amber Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park, noting that these are key factors of interest for Korean enterprises exploring investment opportunities in Vietnam. KOTRA Da Nang committed to promoting information about Quang Tri through its communication channels to enhance accessibility for its network members. Currently, KOTRA is supporting two pilot projects in Quang Tri in the fields of healthcare and agriculture. The company expressed its intention to support the promotion of the province through its media channels, such as Asia Briefing, Vietnam Briefing, and LinkedIn.Dezan Shira & Associates Vietnam also proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Quang Tri IPA to enhance information sharing and establish a long-term cooperative relationship. Both sides agreed to closely coordinate in organizing events and implementing investment promotion activities in the future.

At the conclusion of the meetings, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tan reaffirmed his request for investment promotion agencies and consulting firms to support the introduction of international investors to Quang Tri, contributing to the development of investment projects and the province’s socio-economic growth.
