The Country Director of PUM Netherlands Senior Experts/Netherlands visited and worked in Quang Tri province

From March 15-17, 2026, Mr. Bert Jan Post, Country Director of PUM Netherlands Senior Experts/Netherlands, conducted a regular working visit and implemented activities with the support and coordination of the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency.
* Worked with relevant units on the proposal to build a Startup Incubator Project in Quang Tri province to develop the local startup ecosystem.
On March 16, 2026, PUM held a meeting with Quang Tri General Trading JSC (Sepon Group), the Quang Tri Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Hue University Branch in Quang Tri to exchange and discuss issues related to the Startup Incubator Project in Quang Tri province.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed that Sepon Group and the Hue University Branch in Quang Tri will submit reports on the Startup Incubator Project implemented at their respective units so that IPA Quang Tri will have the information to report to the Provincial People's Committee.

* Surveyed and worked with enterprises in the province to exchange information and understand the needs for cooperation and support from experts in the field of agricultural product production and market development:
Within the framework of the working trip, Mr. Bert Jan Post - Country Director of PUM Netherlands Senior Experts/Netherlands, surveyed and worked with production and business establishments in the field of agricultural products and market development, including: Nam La Agarwood Cooperative, Nhu Oanh Essential Oil Production Cooperative, Tuan Linh Clean Mushroom Production and Agricultural Business Cooperative, and Bac Hien Luong Medicinal Herbs JSC. At the surveyed businesses, the PUM representative exchanged information, understood the situation, support needs, and difficulties that the enterprises are facing. He noted that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province need training support in areas such as business management, finance, cash flow, accounting, human resources, sales, marketing, and some techniques and technologies for caring for seedlings in nurseries, waste treatment, etc.

At the meeting, Mr. Peter Verstappen - Startup Incubator expert of PUM - proposed a model for a Startup Incubator Project in Quang Tri province operating based on the collaboration of four parties: IPA Quang Tri, Sepon Group, the Quang Tri Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Hue University Branch in Quang Tri. The goal is to create a sustainable innovation ecosystem, help strengthen the local industry, retain workers, and generate new business activities in Quang Tri province.At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed that Sepon Group and the Hue University Branch in Quang Tri will submit reports on the Startup Incubator Project implemented at their respective units so that IPA Quang Tri will have the information to report to the Provincial People's Committee.

In March 2025, Mr. Peter Verstappen - an expert of PUM - provided training to the Hue University Branch in Quang Tri on the Startup Incubator Program. However, to date, due to some objective reasons, the startup incubator project has not yet been implemented at the school.
