Accelerating provincial key projects is one of the important tasks to promote socio-economic indicators. In order to strengthen close and drastic direction of provincial key projects, on January 13, 2025, Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 1840-QD/TU on the consolidation of the Provincial Steering Committee for Key Projects.

The issuance of this Decision demonstrates the strong determination of Quang Tri province on the threshold of the new year 2025 in accelerating the progress of provincial-level driving projects, putting the driving projects into operation as soon as possible. Regarding the new apparatus of the Steering Committee, after the restructuring, a number of new comrades have been added to replace a number of comrades who have transferred jobs: Comrade Nguyen Long Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Committee; Comrade Nguyen Chien Thang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, member; Comrade Hoang Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, member. The main task of the Steering Committee is to assist the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in urging and inspecting progress; proposing solutions to difficulties and obstacles; mobilizing the combined strength to complete important projects that are driving forces for the development of the province.
