PUM Netherlands Senior Experts/Netherlands
On March 18, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam met with PUM Netherlands Senior Experts/Netherlands led by Mr. Sven Dekker - Country Director of PUM in Vietnam.
PUM Netherlands Senior Experts (PUM) is an agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands that has implemented cooperation programs to support business capacity in Quang Tri since 2019 with over 10 capacity building training programs and startup incubator programs. Through the support of PUM, enterprises in the province have been provided with a lot of knowledge from basic to modern in production and business activities, improving business management capacity in the fields of agriculture, livestock, agricultural tourism development, community tourism, etc. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam hopes that in the coming time, PUM and Mr. Bert Jan Post - the Country Director of PUM in Vietnam for the next term will continue to focus on supporting businesses to develop the capacity of young workers of Quang Tri province through training programs in the Netherlands and improving the management capacity of the provincial health care system as well as other fields; Continue to support and create conditions for small and medium enterprises in Quang Tri province to access foreign markets; Consider supporting enterprises in Quang Tri in connecting with international markets, especially the European market, including the Netherlands. The People's Committee of Quang Tri province assigned the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency to continue to act as the focal point, coordinating with relevant Departments and localities to support PUM.

At the meeting, recognizing Mr. Sven Dekker's contributions in the past time, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province Hoang Nam awarded a certificate of merit from the People's Committee of Quang Tri province to Mr. Sven Dekker personally for his achievements in supporting the capacity building of Quang Tri province's enterprises in the period of 2019 - 2025.
